SECRETARY REPORT:
The estimated allocation for liquid fuels for 2024 is $31,694.47.
Tyler Clark reached out to the township with an email. His concerns are regarding the corrugated metal storm sewer pipe that runs in between his neighbor and his property. He believes that last year the street department guys came out to his property to fix a sink hole caused by this pipe that is offset at a joint and the bottom of the pipe has rusted out, the sink hole is back and getting worse. SO, he would like someone to come out and fix the issue again sometime soon. He is afraid the hole is being undermined and that someone may take the mower to close and it will collapse. If we need to wait until the ground freezes, he understands that completely so you can get the equipment down to it.
Should I put in for County Aid to help pay for road salt.
A motion was made by Melvin Kehl and seconded by Robert Bushor to apply for County Aid to help offset the cost of salt and antiskid.
All presents in favor and motion carried.
I will order stone and salt next week.
