GROVE TOWNSHIP NOVEMBER MEETING
November 13, 2024
Meeting called to order at 5:00pm
Present: Robert Bushor, Melvin Kehl, Brandie Sherry, via zoom Jim Howard

APPROVAL OF October 2024 MINUTES
• Motion made to accept by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl

APPROVAL OF October TREASURER’ S REPORT
• Motion made to accept by Robert Bushor and seconded by Jim Howard
• All in favor, aye, passed.
SECRETARY REPORT
Yearly letter from Lehman Engineering, they are the engineering firm that does our bridge inspections for the State.
A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl to appoint Lehman Engineering as our Engineers for the year 2025.
All in favor, aye, passed.
We received $234.80 from the last dumpster of scrap metal.
ROADMASTER REPORT
Melvin Report that almost all the millings have been hauled up to Three Runs Road and Sandrock, the remaining millings and stone will be transported back to the Grove Township parking lot for storage. Jim Howard told both Robert and Melvin they did a great job.
We received an application from Tim Conrad, Melvin would like to show him the ropes for plowing so if he is needed, he will know the routine.
Jim Howard explained to Brandie to make sure she orders the off-road diesel next time, so we are not charged taxes.
BUSINESS
The working budget was looked at and a motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl to approve the advertisement in the paper notify the public that the budget is ready for their viewing, and they can make an appointment to go over it.
All in favor, aye, passed.
Jim Howard mentioned that he would like to see us purchase a power rake for the skid steer and a brush hog mower that would be used to mow roadsides.
