Chairman Robert Bushor called the Wednesday August 9, 2023, meeting to order in the Grove Township Bldg. at 5:00 pm,
Present were, Robert Bushor, Melvin Kehl, and Brandie Sherry Frank Ross via phone.

ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA:
READING OF THE MINUTES of July Meeting minutes
A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Frank Ross to accept the minutes as presented.
All presents were in favor and the motion passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT FOR July
A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl to accept the financial reports as presented.
All presents were in favor and the motion passed.
SECRETARY REPORT:
The salt contract has been granted through COSTARS and our company will be Cargill, we have 22 tons reserved for the township. Melvin will let me know when it is time to order it.
A loan agreement was drawn up between Crestline and the Township for $4,000, the agreement was signed, and the first payment will be made on September 1, 2023
ROADMASTER REPORT:
The paving over the new bridge deck will be done next week on Wednesday or Thursday
The guiderail has been installed.
The F550 needed new transmission lines, the old ones were leaking.
BUSINESS:
Jimmy Howard donated a leaf blower and a pole saw. Robert Bushor stated they both run great.
The DEP inspection on the flow meter that was installed for Crestline is done and everything is satisfied.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Dale questioned the payroll for Melvin Kehl and working for another town. He was using our backhoe on Mason Hill; Gibson was billed for the rental of the backhoe which includes Melvin’s fee.
Dale also reminded me about the missing figures he asked for concerning the cost of the bridge over Wykoff Run
Pay Bills as Presented:
A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Frank Ross to pay bills as presented.
All present in favor and motion passed unanimously.
Other reports:
Next meeting will be held on September 13, 2023, at the Grove Township building.
