Meeting called to order at 5:00pm

SECRETARY REPORT
PSATS is encouraging all the townships and Boroughs to pass resolution for America 250PA to help celebrate 250 years of the US. After some discussion it was tabled until we understand what it is
Robert’s signature is needed on the Engagement letter for the Auditors (Troxell & Associates)
So far, we have two quotes for seal cracking. The first one is from Fairview which is $3.50 a pound, but we don’t know how far a pound will go or how much we need. The other quote is from Ruffner’s Blacktop Sealcoating LLC, and it was $19,600.00.
After some discussion this was postponed until we get more quotes and a better idea of how much tar is needed.
Looked into information for a new zero turn: the preferences were diesel and a smaller deck for the cemetery and one with a steering wheel.
- Kubota is the only one with a diesel, the deck size is 60” or 72” and handles for steering – $17,986 (that is with co-star’s discount)
- Dunlap sells Cub Cadet, and they are the only ones with a steering wheel, and only have gas engines. The ZTSX 4 is the only series with a 48” deck for $6,217.00 (that is with co-star’s discount)
- Bobcat is sold at Mahauley’s Outdoor Power Equipment, Coudersport. Bobcat does not offer a diesel or steering wheel, but they have commercial zero turns. The first one is a commercial grade mower with a 48” mower deck for $8,233.02, the second one is used by business with a lot of side lawn mowing and it has a 48” mower deck for $6,563.32.
- We have $14,730.78 in recreation and there is no income that replaces that, so if we go with one that is more than we will empty the account and need to supplement from another account.
A motion was made by Robert Bushor to purchase the cub cadet from Dunlap Lawn and Garden in Dubois for $6,217.00 Jim Howard seconded the motion.

ROADMASTER REPORT
Signs, posts, and bolts have been ordered to get the proper signage on the bridges.
The guys checked the bridges for signs, and Melvin put dirt in the 4-wheeler ditch that is undermining our road. It appears that a pipe has been delivered that the owners of the property are going to install there to help the situation and stop our road from being undermined.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion on zero turn – was done earlier in the meeting.
Motion for seal cracking – this was tabled.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Dale Wood asked Brandie if she had figured out how much money per mile the township receives from Liquid Fuel. She forgot to look that up, it will be available at the next meeting.
Melvin said that there will some changes to the Ambulance service from Cameron County Ambulance, the person in charge of EMCO has changed and the new guy is willing to put Cameron County ambulance on our box calls therefore they will be responding to all of Sinnemahoning.
