SECRETARY REPORT:

Brandie read a letter sent to the Township from the Pavlis family, grandchildren of Floyd’s and they would like the Township to pass a resolution that would help them get Upper Jerry Run’s name changed due to all their family history in the area.  The Board of Supervisors would like a letter written back to them to see what the process is for this before we decided any way.

Public Comment:  There was concern if this name change was allowed how many more things would they liked changed after that.  Or are other families with long history in the area are going to want to change names of areas.

Russ Braun has sent a letter with increase in prices for 2023 for the sewage permits.

Received the estimates from Lehman Engineering for doing the permit needed to tear out beams of the old bridge on Jerry Run Road that crosses Wykoff Run Road.

There were 7 outstanding trash bills taken to the Courthouse, since then 2 of them have been removed so there are 5 outstanding ones.

ROADMASTER REPORT:

Not much to report, have the truck all ready for the upcoming storm.

BUSINESS:

We need to appoint someone to fill in for Carol Delp’s auditor position.  There are two candidates for the position, Melony Bowden, and Dawn Wirt.  It was decided that Melony Bowden will be the new auditor but come elections in 2023 she will need to run on the ballet.

A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl to pass the 2023 budget.

All present were in favor and the motion passed unanimously.

After talking with PSATS we can not appoint a new tax collector until after Shireen’s official date of resignation which is January 15th.  The candidate must have lived in the Township for at least one year and be a register voter in the town.  This position will also have to be one ballet in 2023.

A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Frank Ross to give Christmas bonus of $100.00 to Brandie, Emerson, and Mike.

All present were in favor and the motion passed unanimously.
