GROVE TOWNSHIP MONTHLY MEETING

April 8, 2026

April 8, 2026, meeting was called to order at 5.00pm

Present: Brandie Sherry, Melvin Kehl, Robert Bushor,

Absent: Jim Howard

Motion made to accept March minutes as read by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl

APPROVAL OF March TREASURER’S REPORT

SECRETARY REPORT

                Brandie will be attending the PSATS conference in Hersey on April 20-22, she is receiving an award for her years of service to the township.

                Letter from Senator Chris Duch office about a Meet Senator Chris Dush, I am registered for the April 29th, at Lock Haven.

                Egg hunt was a huge success this year, we had 56 children there

                Brandie talked to the county about the wind, solar and data centers and zoning ordinances.  We are covered by any that the County passes because they are our zoning board.  I have a copy of the windmill amendment; they are currently working on the data center one then they will start the solar one.

ROADMASTER REPORT

Not much to talk about, taking the truck to get fixed 

PARK REPORT

Park looks great, had lots of complements from the adults at the Easter Egg hunt. Melvin turned the water on for the year, found some leaks and got them fixed.

BUSINESS

                Robert Bushor told Brandie we need to order a new Jerry Run Road sign

                Water coming from Crestline Road is undermining at that camp again, when the rain lets up Melvin will investigate the problem and get it fixed.

Public Comment

A motion was made by Robert Bushor and seconded by Melvin Kehl to pay bills as presented.  Motion carried unanimously.

Next regular meeting will be held on May 13,2026, starting at 5:00 at Grove Township building.
